Nestled at a prime Cambie street corner, co-proprietors Cam Watt and Keenan Hood have unveiled a new brasserie-style restaurant that is both visually striking and conceptually innovative. The space, designed by renowned Mexican architect Héctor Esrawe, showcases a harmonious design that features curvaceous elements, an expansive openness, layered textures, and a thoughtfully curated color palette, resulting in an iconic ambiance that is inspiring.
Chef Connor Sperling, well-known for his tenure at the Michelin-starred restaurant Published on Main (and also the winner of the 2017 Hawksworth Young Chef Award, representing Vancouver as well as Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar), has created a menu of beautiful classic dishes with a twist.
In addition to the cuisine, the stunning bar area highlights the hammered copper (from Mexico) encompassing it, while Bar Director Amber Bruce (of The Keefer Bar) and Bar Manager Satoshi Yonemori (of Grapes & Soda), as well as Head Bartender Riley Maggs (from The Keefer), create an incredible lineup of cocktails for June.
Topped off with a well-experienced front-of-house team, including General Manager Leticia Castro and Assistant General Manager Marlo Panuccki, the aim is to create a warm environment where guests want to linger and truly enjoy themselves.
