OUR FOUNDER

Troy Felix, the driving force behind Mercury Contracting, brings over 20 years of construction expertise to every project. Raised in a blue-collar, trades-focused household, Troy spent his childhood on Canada’s stunning East Coast in Newfoundland and Nova Scotia. He relocated to Vancouver in 2004 and has since become a respected leader in the industry.

Formally trained in multiple construction trades and nearing completion of his BC Master Homebuilder Status, Troy’s strong entrepreneurial spirit defines his approach. At age 20, he opened his own restaurant, sparking a lifelong passion for food and hospitality. This unique perspective enables him to connect deeply with restaurant owners, often collaborating to bring their concepts to life. A champion of entrepreneurship, Troy works seamlessly with designers, architects, and operators to deliver spaces that are not only award-winning and inspiring but also functional and lasting.
